His moves will never trap her

He’s pegged this girl all wrong

She prefers to willingly sacrifice

Over becoming your unwitting pawn.

Don’t miscalculate her loyalty

Her Prince is peace and truth

She’ll bow humble at His feet

Over taking a turn with a liar like you.

Your lures and schemes won’t snare her

Those who set them just make her sad

She prays they’ll find the narrow gate

She hopes they’ll know the love she has.

For she won’t trade her joy for sorrow

No idol will claim victory

She won’t listen to a stranger’s voice

She’ll stay alert

You won’t catch her asleep.

Did you really think you could trap her?

Her King is far from weak

They say that looks are deceiving

But she’s not as exposed as you believe her to be.

More than this, His Spirit is in her

And she won’t move away from this hope

Her King is always able

And He’ll never let her go.

So take your trappings and keep them

You won’t force her to resign

You thought you had her, didn’t you?

You forget that her Jesus is the ultimate prize!

Checkmate?

He moved his piece

She moved hers next

That’s when she saw that he’d spread his net

Checkmate? Not so

Her King is strong!

Don’t count the girl out

She won’t be hedged in long.

Don’t Play Games With The Devil. Take the Escape.

“So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” –James 4:7

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. —1 Corinthians 10:13

“If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.” –Matthew 5:29
