I’ve been putting it off for far too long. I really need to take a blogging break, but I’d like to leave you with the poem below.  It’s not only time for a blogging break, it’s time to fly in two senses: It’s time to kick the devil to the curb, and it’s time to soar.  I’m not backing down. Never give up.  Rest when you must, but don’t give up. ❤

I’m not exactly sure how long I’ll be away. The longest I’ve ever taken is three weeks. I’m going to aim for a month. We’ll see how that goes, but I will be back.

God bless and keep you. ❤

I’m tired of your lies

I’m leaving them behind

I’m not listening anymore

You have nothing good to say.

I’m tired of the games

I’m on to better things

I don’t care how hard you try

I know what tomorrow brings.

So I’m never looking back

I won’t ever miss that place

I’ve traded my sorrows for joy

There’s nothing better than God’s grace.

I’ve tasted and I’ve seen

There’s no one greater than my King

He guides me by the hand

He protects and shelters me

So don’t tell me all your lies

For I know the Prince of Peace

You can try to cut me down

But I’ll keep planting all my seeds

For I believe that God is able

And I know you’ve already been beat

So I refuse to feel defeated

And I won’t be losing any sleep.
