Radiant light
Reflecting off a neighboring house
Winter trees
Barren, but beautiful
A gentle wind
A satisfied mind
Calm
Reflective
Soaking it all in.
Daylight’s fading
But only from sight
My heart is full
Collected are my thoughts
Thankful
Full of praise
Loving my Jesus
So fortunate, so free
No reason to turn back
So gentle, so loving.
Blue skies smiling
Clouds drifting lazily by
Restful
Refreshed
Tranquil.
The sun goes down over the rooftops
Grey skies roll in now
But grey skies never could keep me down
There’s always a silver lining
Take a look.
The day grows dim
A gentle cool light
Reflective of the season
Delicate limbs of silhouetted trees
Awaiting Spring’s blossoms
Revival bursting forth
Beautiful
Glorious
Rejoicing.
Darkness falls
It’s always darkest before the dawn
Stillness
Quietness
Contentment
Trusting and waiting
It won’t be long now
Joy comes in the morning.
